USFSA SNOWPLOW SAM PROGRAM
The Snowplow Sam levels are designed to help the beginning skater develop preliminary coordination and strength to maneuver on the ice.
Snowplow Sam is a big, fuzzy polar bear who loves to skate.
The Snowplow Sam program will allow children to become comfortable on the ice
SNOWPLOW SAM CLASSES AT THE AFSC
1:30 - 2:00 most Sundays from October to March, plus a Thursday session at 5 - 5:30pm
(please always watch the AFSC schedule for dates, and know there may be changes sometimes - plus all sessions are posted on the Riley Arena Schedule page here.)
Please dress your skater WARMLY because until they are able to move more freely on
the ice they can get pretty cold - bring a hat, warm long socks & two pairs of gloves.
Snowplow Sam Skaters have ice for 1 hour total over 2 sessions per week, and coaches try to get kids through the program as quickly as possible and graduate them into Basic Skills.
Each skater receives a 20 minute group lesson.
All Snowplow Sam skaters participate in the Winter Ice Show and can
also compete in the Cody Spring Classic Competition
