Like every sport, you need to get a great foundation of basic skills if you want to progress quickly in figure skating, but tweens or teens don't necessarily want to do that with a crowd of tinies!
If you're 11 or older, join our TEEN BEGINNERS class for a goal-oriented program that encourages ice skating at multiple levels. You will learn:

Correct technique of the simple basic elements
-
How healthy and physical figure skating really is
-
To achieve the skills necessary to either skate for fun the rest of your life or to move competently into the U.S. Figure Skating advanced test and/or competitive structure.
Older/Teen Beginners at the CFSC
1:30 - 2:30 most Sundays from October to March
(please watch the AFSC Schedule for dates, and know there may be changes sometimes.
Older Beginners skaters have full ice for part of the session and 1/2 ice for the other part.
Each skater receives a 20 minute group lesson.
All Older Beginners skaters can participate in the Winter Ice Show and
